Sometimes obedience begins not with certainty, but with the willingness to stop, listen and trust God with what comes next. I didn’t have clarity, direction, or a five-year plan — only the growing awareness that the way I was living was no longer aligned with who I was becoming.

In April 2025, I made a leap of faith and quit my job, which I had been working from home. While the flexibility of remote work existed… the pressure, routine, and mental weight remained. Each day felt heavy — ending the night knowing I would wake up and clock back into work that brought anxiety and exhaustion. I longed for a life where my time felt intentional, where creativity had room to breathe and where I could actually enjoy the life God had given me.

At the time, my mindset was very different from what it is now. Before, I relied solely on myself — grinding, striving, working long hours without rest, constantly pushing for progress, trying to make money and survive. Quitting my job and stepping into the unknown forced me to shift. I had to learn to become God-reliant, to embrace partnership with Him, instead of trying to figure everything out at once and on my own.

This lesson went far beyond business — it touched every part of my life. I had constant reminders to invite God into every decision and every moment, not just on the side. Over time, reliance on Him replaced constant striving and I began to experience clarity, creativity and peace I hadn’t known before.

At first, my focus was practical. I created an LLC intending to replace my income through rental cars and vending machines. I wasn’t trying to build a vision or a lifestyle — I was simply trying to make things work. I also called on God to be my business partner but He had other plans. Real estate had been something I circled around for years. I had mentors, toured properties, and saw before-and-after flips. I had people cheering me on, offering help and willing to support my growth. Still, I was never fully committed. From April 2024 through January 2025, I enrolled in courses to obtain my real estate license, extending my timeline multiple times and asking for more time. When I finally took the exam, I failed it. I told myself I would retake it… but I never did. Looking back, I can see it wasn’t a lack of opportunity or support — it was a lack of alignment. I was forcing myself toward paths that made sense on paper but didn’t match what God was forming within me.

During this time, I spent many days at home —jobless, uncertain, and often hard on myself. I expected clarity overnight. I expected myself to have it all together. Instead, I had to learn how to slow down, be intentional, and call on God at every step. Each time I did, He revealed something new. Perspective replaced pressure. Stillness replaced striving.

To make use of the time I now had, I spent days exploring downtown. As I walked, I would stop and look at storefronts and the same thought kept coming; I could use this space for a social club. This thought followed me no matter which storefront I looked at — until I came across one in particular that made me want to take action. Nervous and unsure, I made the leap to call the leasing manager — without a plan, without confidence in my business knowledge, but trusting God to guide me. That first call was transformative. It stretched me beyond my comfort zone, taught me to face my anxiety, and became the first domino in a chain of events that would slowly bring the vision of Saier to life.

From that conversation, I connected with a business mentor who helped me shape a legal business plan, giving structure and clarity to what Saier would become. Step by step, with God’s guidance, everything began to fall into place — not perfectly, not easily, but with purpose and intention. That domino effect showed me that obedience and trust could turn a simple idea into something real.

Around this same time, I spent hours listening to sermons, prayers, and mindset teachings from people who believed in God and applied faith to their businesses — one of the most impactful being Myron Golden. These teachings challenged me to think bigger, expand my perspective and recognize what God had already been placing on my heart.

Meanwhile, Saier was being built quietly — in Pinterest boards, notebooks, presentation slides and journal pages. But more importantly, it was being built in the waiting, in the boredom and in the longing for creativity and community that I couldn’t find anywhere else. It was being built as God reminded me to be still, to slow down and to trust the process.

In reflection, I began to see how God had been forming this vision in my heart long before I had words for it. From childhood hobbies that once brought joy, to adulthood where I deeply felt their absence, everything pointed back to the same truth; I didn’t need to find my purpose. I needed to discover it, prepare myself for it through intention and learning and then accept the assignment.

Saier is the result of that process. It is not rushed. It is not forced. It is a lifestyle built through faith, alignment and obedience. A way of living that creates space for creativity, community, curiosity and connection — rooted in God and lived out daily.

Saier exists because faith was chosen over certainty, alignment over convenience and obedience over urgency. And it continues to grow the same way it began — one step at a time, in partnership with God.

This is an ongoing process and some days are easier than others but no matter how many breaks I take I always find my way back to Saier and I hope one day you find that comfortability in it as well. This space isn’t meant to be strictly for people that believe in God or for Christians, this space is for anyone wanting to live a more intentionally just like I did and just want the opportunity to do so.
